David has 20 years coaching experience and he has written and illustrated coaching articles in Golf Illustrated and BBC Ryder Cup magazines.
David turned professional at 16 and then ran the Sussex School of Golf. He was head professional at Surrey National Golf Club between 1999 and 2008. David now runs the David Kent Golf Academy at Farleigh Court Golf Club in Surrey.
David has successfully coached / guided several juniors from complete beginners through to joining the professional ranks. Some of whom have:-
- Represented their County
- Won County Championships
- Represented England
- Played on professional tours
